Tenant Complaint That Apartment Conditions Caused Allergies Dismissed

Rent-stabilized tenant in Larchmont complained to the DHCR that repairs were needed throughout her apartment due to her allergies. The DRA ruled against tenant and dismissed her complaint. Tenant appealed and lost. The DHCR's inspector found no visible stains or discoloration on kitchen cabinets, no visible defects on kitchen walls, the bedroom door, closet doors, or apartment flooring. The inspector also found no smells or odors in the kitchen. The DRA properly dismissed the complaint as there were no conditions found.
