Rent Hike Granted for Boiler, Water Heater

LVT Number: 19344

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of a boiler and water heating unit. The DRA ruled against landlord, finding landlord's application incomplete. Landlord appealed and won. The DRA had asked landlord for a copy of the DEP registration for the boiler. Landlord showed that its application to the DEP had been pending, and that the registration was not issued until shortly after the DRA had ruled on landlord's MCI application. Landlord submitted a copy of the DEP registration with its PAR.
