MCI Rent Hike Granted for Hot Water Heater

LVT Number: #23348

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of a new hot water heater. The DRA ruled against landlord. Landlord appealed and won. The DRA had requested complete plumbing permits and electrical certificates from landlord because landlord's MCI application referred to the installation of a gas-fired boiler. Landlord didn't supply this information. But landlord sought an MCI increase for a hot water heater, not a boiler.
