Notices Aren't Defective

LVT Number: 13382

(Decision submitted by Manhattan attorney Michael K. Brown, who represented the landlord.) Landlord sued to evict tenant for creating a nuisance. Tenant asked the court to dismiss the case without a trial, claiming that landlord's notice to cure and termination notice were defective. The court ruled against tenant. Landlord's notices were clear and his claims specific. The notice gave tenant sufficient information to prepare a defense.
