Landlord Fined for Defective Outdoor Wiring

DOB issued a violation notice to landlord based on defective outdoor wiring installed at a building without a permit. Landlord objected to the violation, but the ALJ fined it $3,200. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord presented no proof at the hearing as to the number of apartments or doorbells at the building, and the violation was properly issued.
