Illegal Drug Activity at Apartment

Landlord sued to evict public housing tenant for permitting drug activity in her apartment. At the trial, a police officer testified that arrests had been made at the apartment and that he believed that the apartment was being used to illegally store, package, and sell drugs. Tenant testified that she had no idea her apartment was being used for illegal drug activity. The court ruled for landlord because it found tenant's statements to be not believable.
