Evidence of Mice Infestation

LVT Number: 7082

The Department of Health issued landlord a notice of a number of violations for mice infestation. The ALJ fined landlord $950 for 11 of the violations, and landlord appealed. Landlord argued that the only indication of mice in the building was droppings, which weren't necessarily fresh at the time of the inspection. Landlord claimed that it regularly exterminated the building. The ECB found that landlord's extermination methods were insufficient, and dismissed landlord's appeal.
