Tenant Didn't Complain About Size of Cabinets

Tenant complained of a reduction in services based on various conditions. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced her rent. Tenant appealed, claiming that landlord had removed two kitchen cabinets and replaced them with one smaller cabinet. The DHCR ruled against tenant. Tenant didn't complain about the size of her cabinets. She claimed that the kitchen cabinet was damaged. When the apartment was inspected, the cabinets had been replaced, and there was no damage. If tenant wanted to pursue her claim about the cabinet size, she must file a new complaint.
