Tenant Created Health Hazard in Apartment

(Decision submitted by Philip A. Rosen of the Queens law firm of Horing & Welikson, P.C., attorneys for the landlord.) Landlord sued to evict tenant for creating a nuisance. Landlord's managing agent and building super testified at the trial that they had seen deplorable conditions in tenant's apartment, that the apartment had a foul odor, and that it was so cluttered that it was a fire hazard. Landlord also presented photographs of conditions in the apartment. The court ruled for landlord.
