Several Tenants Improperly Included as Parties to Rent Reduction Order

LVT Number: #33003

In separate complaints filed with the DHCR, tenants complained of a reduction in building-wide services at their building. The DRA ruled for tenants, finding that janitorial service had been reduced. The DRA later denied landlord's applications to restore rent, finding that services had not been restored. Landlord appealed the three decisions and won, in part. Based on its inspector's report, the DHCR affirmed that janitorial services had not been restored.
