Parking at Side of Building Doesn't Violate Zoning Laws

LVT Number: 17087

DOB issued a violation notice to landlord for parking violations based on an inspector's finding of five cars parked at the side of the building. Landlord showed that only tenants parked there and claimed that there was no violation. The ALJ ruled against landlord and fined him $480. Landlord appealed and won. Zoning laws permit accessory parking for building tenants, and landlord showed that it was tenants who parked at the side of the building.
