Landlord Corrected Mold Condition

LVT Number: 18275

Tenant complained of a reduction in services based on a mold condition. The DRA ruled for tenant based on HPD violations for this condition. The DRA acknowledged that its own inspector couldn't evaluate the mold condition in relation to health department standards. The DRA reduced tenant's rent. Landlord later applied for rent restoration based on restoration of services. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenant appealed, claiming that he was still suffering health problems due to the mold. The DHCR ruled against tenant. Landlord showed that the HPD violations had been corrected.
