Mold Condition Corrected

LVT Number: #23300

Tenant complained of a reduction in services based on mold and mildew in her bathroom. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced her rent. The DRA later granted landlord's application to restore the rent based on the correction of the mold condition. Tenant appealed and lost. Inspection confirmed tenant's claim that there were brown stains bleeding through paint in the shower stall, peeling paint and plaster, and blistering paint on the shower stall frame. But this could indicate a new condition or unworkmanlike repairs. It didn't prove that the mold condition continued.
