Eviction Case Delayed Pending Super's Discrimination Claim

LVT Number: 10160

New landlord sued to evict building superintendent after terminating her employment. Tenant super asked the court to dismiss the eviction case. After she was fired, tenant sued landlord in federal court for discrimination, claiming new landlord fired her because she was a woman. The newly hired super landlord was a man. The court found that there was no reason to dismiss landlord's case, since the issues raised in each case were different.
