Application Filed on Time

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on exterior restoration work. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenants appealed, claiming that landlord's application was filed more than two years after the work was completed. The DHCR ruled against tenants. The completion date of all work involved in the complex building-wide exterior restoration was June 20, 2000. This was less than two years before landlord filed its application.
