Apartment Used for Sale of Drugs

Landlord sued to evict tenant for using her apartment or permitting the use of her apartment for the sale of drugs. Tenant claimed that she wasn't involved in any drug activity and wasn't responsible for her roommate's activities. The court ruled for landlord, who proved tenant had been involved in illegal activity in the apartment. Tenant had been arrested in the apartment where police found 11 vials of crack-cocaine, $2,200 in cash, a loaded semi-automatic pistol and ammunition. Tenant pleaded guilty to possession.
