Termination Notice Didn't Give Enough Facts

Landlord sued to evict tenant for creating a nuisance. Landlord claimed that tenant disturbed her neighbors through excessive noise, destroyed her apartment doors and walls, and violated a housing assistance payments contract by having an unauthorized roommate. Tenant claimed that landlord's termination notice didn't give enough facts and that there were other procedural defects. The court ruled for tenant and dismissed the case. Landlord's court papers stated that the building was in Peekskill, when it was in Ossining.

Landlord also didn't give a termination notice stating the end of the lease term after sending tenant a notice to cure. Landlord's notices also didn't state sufficient facts and grounds for relief to justify the termination of the lease.
