Tenant's Cats Caused Nauseating, Offensive Odors

LVT Number: 18861

Landlord sued to evict tenant for creating a nuisance. The court ruled for landlord after finding that tenant kept many cats in the apartment. The court's own inspection showed that this caused nauseating and offensive odors in the building. Tenant appealed and lost. There was substantial proof supporting the court's decision. But the appeals court delayed the eviction for another 20 days, to give tenant a chance to correct the condition.
