Partial Replacement of Lintels Done in Connection with Qualifying MCI

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on pointing, and on partial replacement of lintels and parapets. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenants appealed, claiming that the lintels and parapets replacements didn't qualify as MCIs. The DHCR ruled against tenants. Since the pointing qualified as an MCI, and since the lintels and parapets replacements were done in connection with the pointing, these items also qualified for MCI rent hikes.
