No Roof Inspection Needed

LVT Number: #19841

Tenants complained of a reduction in services based on leaks in their apartment. The DRA ruled for tenants and reduced their rent. Landlord later applied for rent restoration, claiming that services were restored. After an inspection, the DRA ruled for landlord. Tenants appealed, claiming that the inspector should have checked the source of the leak on the roof. The DHCR ruled against tenants. Inspection showed that the leaks in the apartment had been corrected. The inspector wasn't required to investigate conditions on the roof of the building.
