Landlord's Demolition Application Reopened

LVT Number: #30166

Landlord asked the DHCR for permission to terminate the tenancies of five rent-stabilized apartments in order to demolish the building. The DRA ruled against landlord, finding that landlord didn't comply with requests for additional information, including a breakdown of demolition and construction costs, proof of service of tenancy termination notices, proof of funds in the form of a commitment letter from a financial institution, and a segregated bank account. Landlord appealed, and the case was reopened.
