Landlord Corrected Termite Problem

LVT Number: 14695

Tenant complained of a reduction in services based on termite infestation. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord later applied for rent restoration based on correction of the problem. Tenant appealed, claiming that there was still a termite problem. The DHCR ruled against tenant. The DHCR's inspector had inspected the apartment with tenant, the building super, and the exterminator present. There were no termites in the apartment at that time. So the DRA properly restored tenant's rent.
