Landlord Can Eject Tenants from Apartment
LVT Number: 11131
Landlord sued to eject tenants from apartment without starting a holdover proceeding. The court ruled for landlord, and tenants appealed. The appeals court ruled against tenants. Tenants lease had expired. After that, tenants didn't offer to pay rent and landlord didn't accept any rent from them. So no holdover tenancy was created.
