Insufficient Proof of Facade Restoration

LVT Number: #22800

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on facade restoration, with related architectural fees. The DRA ruled against landlord, based on insufficient proof of the claimed work. Landlord appealed and lost. Landlord didn't submit any contracts or cancelled checks documenting the work. Instead landlord submitted only affidavits of completion and payment from the facade contractor and the project architect, along with copies of requisition forms and invoices showing amounts due for work completed at various stages of the project.
