Installation of Aluminum Panels on Parapets Doesn't Qualify
LVT Number: 15507
Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of aluminum panels on the building's parapet walls. The DRA ruled against landlord. Landlord appealed and lost. The installation of aluminum panels onto parapet walls, known as ''cladding,'' doesn't qualify as an MCI. It's considered ordinary repair work.
