Eviction Warrant Vacated

LVT Number: 14420

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. The court ruled for landlord, and an eviction warrant was sent to tenant. Tenant asked the court to vacate the warrant. The court ruled for tenant. Landlord appealed and lost. Tenant had lived in the apartment for a long time, unintentionally defaulted in his rent payment, and was prepared at the time of his request to vacate the warrant to pay all the back rent and landlord's costs and fees. Under these circumstances, the court reasonably vacated the eviction warrant.
