Door Shut on Tenant's Hand

LVT Number: 13186

Tenant sued landlord for negligence after a door in her apartment shut on her hand. Landlord asked the court to dismiss the case without a trial. The court ruled for landlord, and tenant appealed. She claimed that the door was unquestionably dangerous. The appeals court also ruled against tenant. The door wasn't presumably dangerous just because it didn't have a doorstop.
