LVT Number: 13793

HPD terminated tenant's Section 8 rent subsidy. While tenant got her Section 8 benefits, she moved from one apartment to another in the same building. HPD then stopped paying tenant's Section 8 subsidy and sent her a letter stating that her family income was too high. Tenant appealed at an informal conference. HPD ruled against tenant, and tenant appealed. The court ruled for tenant. HPD's termination notice was inadequate and didn't conform to notice requirements.
