Tenant claimed that the court improperly admitted taped conversations between landlord and tenant's niece and wife. The appeals court ruled against tenant. Landlord had other sufficient proof of the illegal sublet, and the trial court had ruled that the audiotapes weren't evidence upon which it based its decision.
