Tenant Can't Vacate Settlement Agreement

Landlord sued to evict rent-stabilized tenant for owner occupancy. Landlord and tenant signed a settlement agreement in court. Tenant later asked the court to vacate the agreement. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant appealed and lost. Although tenant had no attorney, she signed the settlement agreement in court and understood what she was signing. Tenant showed no good reason to set aside the agreement and got ample compensation from landlord for her agreement to move out.
