Tenant Can't Question Landlord Before Trial

Landlord sued to evict tenant for non-primary residence. Tenant asked the court's permission to question landlord before the trial, and the court refused. Tenant appealed, and the appeals court upheld the lower court's ruling. Tenant didn't prove enough of a need to question landlord before the trial. Landlord had withdrawn the evidence the building security videotape and log that tenant wanted to question landlord about.
