Temporary Removal of Fire Buckets Not a Violation

The Fire Department issued violation notices to landlord for not providing fire buckets or a fire extinguisher, and for not removing some wood from the boiler room. Landlord claimed there had been no violations. The ALJ ruled against landlord and fined it $175. Landlord appealed. ECB ruled for landlord in part. While painting, landlord had removed the buckets from the wall where they belonged, but had not removed them from the boiler room. The fine was reduced by $75.
