Second Violation Issued Six Days After First

LVT Number: 11429

The Fire Department issued a violation notice to landlord for not getting a certificate of fitness for the supervision of a low psi oil burner. On the hearing date, the ALJ found that landlord hadn't corrected the violation and fined landlord $300. Landlord appealed. The Fire Department had issued a separate notice for the same violation six days before the current one. Landlord should've been given a 35-day period to correct the violation before getting another violation notice. The second fine was revoked.
