President of Landlord Corporation Must Pay Fine

The trial court did so, and HPD appealed. The appeals court ruled for HPD. The corporation's president was identified on the multiple dwelling registration statement. The housing maintenance code says that ``owner'' includes not only the corporate owner but also any other person directly or indirectly in control of a dwelling.
