Petition Didn't State Tenant's Section 8 Status

LVT Number: 11229

Landlord sued to evict Section 8 tenant after serving 30-day termination notice. Landlord claimed there was no lease in effect. Tenant claimed there was and that landlord's petition was defective. The court ruled for tenant and dismissed the petition. Among other things, the court found that landlord didn't state in either his termination notice or his petition that tenant was subject to federal Section 8 regulations.
