Not-for-Profit Co-op Not Subject to Rent Stabilization

The DHCR ruled for landlord and revoked the DHCR's ruling. Tenant's apartment was located in a cooperative owned by 2333 Grand Avenue Housing Development Finance Corporation. This was a not-for-profit cooperative corporation. Tenant owned shares to the co-op apartment. Also, tenant had lived in the building since 1992, when it was owned by the City of New York.
