Landlord/Partner Must Correct Violations

LVT Number: 8282

HPD sued landlord partnership to correct building violations. The court ordered landlord and its individual partners to make repairs. One of the landlord partners claimed he had no individual connection or management authority at the building. He asked the court to vacate the order, as it applied to him personally. The court ruled for landlord partner, and HPD appealed. The appeals court ruled for HPD. The partner had signed and filed the multiple dwelling registration statement. His name, business address, and phone number were listed on the statement.
