Cost of Plastering and Painting Around Doors Included

Landlord applied for MCI rent increases based on several improvements, including installation of new entrance doors. The DRA ruled for landlord but disallowed any increase for the cost of painting and plastering the area around the new entrance doors. Landlord appealed and won. Landlord's contract for installation of the doors specifically excluded patching; plastering and painting work was done within a few months of the completion of the installation of the new doors.
