LVT Number: 15347

The town sued landlord to enforce the fire prevention code and asked the court to rule without a trial. The town claimed that there were building violations, including bats in the attic, a blocked exit or leaking roof in two apartments, and inadequate structural support of the building. The court ruled for the town. Landlord appealed and lost. Even though the inspector couldn't confirm that he saw some of the stated violations, landlord admitted the violations.
