177 Outstanding Housing Violations

LVT Number: 9050

Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on the installation of a new boiler/burner. The DRA denied landlord's application because it lacked two of the required government approvals. Landlord appealed, and submitted the missing documents. The DHCR found that landlord's application was now complete. But landlord still couldn't collect the MCI rent hikes because there were 177 outstanding violations on record for the building, 36 of which were for immediately hazardous conditions. Landlord can't get an MCI rent hike until it corrects these 36 violations.
