Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on a number of improvements. The DRA ruled for landlord in part, but disallowed any increase for parapets, roof surfacing/terrace deck restoration, roof/terrace rail repair, window caulking, stucco, sidewalk bridge, maintenance and security of scaffolding, and architectural services. Landlord appealed and won. All of this work was done in connection with pointing and waterproofing that qualified for MCI rent increases. So the related work qualified, also.
