Warrant Vacated

LVT Number: 13697

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nonpayment of rent. The court ruled for landlord. Tenant later asked the court to vacate the eviction warrant. The court ruled for tenant, and landlord appealed. The appeals court ruled against landlord. Tenant had paid the full amount of back rent due, landlord had accepted the payment, tenant had lived in the apartment for a long time, and tenant offered good reasons for not paying the money earlier. So tenant showed good cause for vacating the eviction warrant.
