Landlord applied for MCI rent hikes based on installation of a new security monitor system, new lobby entrance door, and overhaul and modernization of three elevators. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenants appealed and won, in part. Landlord had obtained a prior MCI increase for installation of a controller less than 25 years ago in one of the three elevators. So this $20,000 cost was deducted from the total approved MCI costs.
