Tenant's Hot Water Complaint Limited to Shower

LVT Number: #19846

Tenant complained of inadequate hot water. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced his rent. Landlord later applied for rent restoration based on the restoration of services. The DRA ruled for landlord. Tenant appealed, claiming that the hot water temperature was inadequate and still fluctuated in his bathroom. The DHCR ruled against tenant. Tenant's original complaint concerned water temperature fluctuation only in the shower. So the DRA properly restored tenant's rent after inspection showed that hot water was properly restored in the shower.
