Tenant Violated Chronic Nonpayment Settlement Agreement

Landlord sued to evict tenant for chronic nonpayment of rent. Landlord and tenant signed a settlement agreement in court giving tenant a probation period to pay rent on time. A judgment and an eviction warrant were issued. Tenant later defaulted on the settlement agreement, and landlord sent an eviction notice. Tenant asked the court to delay execution of the eviction. The court ruled against tenant. Tenant appealed and lost. During the probation period, tenant sent landlord a postdated check that didn't clear. Tenant also submitted no proof of another claimed cash payment.
