Tenant Seeks to Evict Subtenant for Pitbull and Unauthorized Roommate

LVT Number: #30779

Tenant sued to evict subtenant after sending a notice to cure and termination notice. Tenant claimed that subtenant kept a pitbull dog, added a roommate without getting tenant's permission, and was using or selling illegal drugs in the apartment. Subtenant asked the court to dismiss the case, claiming that tenant's notices were too vague to allow her to prepare a defense. The court ruled for subtenant in part. Tenant's claim of alleged drug activity in the apartment wasn't specific enough and therefore was dismissed.
