Tenant Needn't Pay Rent Due After She Moved Out

Landlord sued former tenant in Putnam County small claims court for back rent. The court ruled for landlord and ordered tenant to pay landlord $1,000. Tenant appealed. The appeals court ruled that tenant only owed landlord $300. Tenant moved out in response to landlord's request that she do so. So, tenant wasn't responsible for rent due after she left.
