Tenant Must Be Accompanied by ‘Suitable Person'

Landlord sued to evict tenant for nuisance. Landlord showed at a preliminary hearing that tenant presented a danger and threat to the health and safety of other tenants and building employees due to her continuous verbal threats to harm others and to set her apartment on fire. While the case was pending, the court ruled that tenant be accompanied by a suitable person who could restrain her. Tenant appealed this ruling. The appeals court ruled against tenant.
