Tenant Evicted for Chronic Nonpayment of Rent

The trial court ruled for landlord. Landlord showed that it had started five nonpayment proceedings against tenant within one year. Tenant offered no defense to those proceedings. Tenant's chronic nonpayment was a substantial violation of tenant's lease provision requiring that rent be paid on or about the first day of every month.
