LVT Number: #26750

Tenant complained of a reduction in required services. The DRA ruled for tenant based on cracked kitchen and bathroom ceilings, mold, and bubbled paint. The DRA ruled for tenant and reduced her rent. Landlord later applied for rent restoration based on the restoration of services. The DRA ruled for landlord after tenant failed to provide access for inspection. Tenant appealed and lost. Tenant claimed that services hadn’t been restored and that she was away at the time of the scheduled Dec. 18, 2014, inspection. But the DRA sent tenant its inspection notice by regular mail on Dec. 4.

Tenant also submitted no proof of good cause for failing to cooperate with the inspection before the DRA issued its order on Feb. 12, 2015.
